Inspiration or Desperation
In 2011, I was living in NYC working as a bartender on Fifth Ave making $300-500 a night.
I only worked 3 days a week, with the remaining 4 days spent doing whatever I wanted.
I had a beautiful apartment in the Upper East Side.
And I was dating a hot wealthy fashion designer who made dresses for the likes of Beyoncé.
So needless to say, life was epic!
Then… everything changed in an instant…
❎ I lost my bartending job due to the slow season.
❎ I ended up owing my best friend and roommate $4000 in back rent.
❎ I felt miserable and wasn’t the nicest guy to be around, so my girlfriend left me.
❎ I was broke and my lease was coming to a close, so I was about to be homeless.
❎ And if that wasn’t enough, on the day of my 25th birthday, I received a call that my mentor and best friend had died of emphysema.
For the last week or so in that apartment, I laid curled up in a ball on my bed crying my eyes out.
Fortunately, my kind Aunt offered me a spare bedroom in her home, which is where I spent the next few months contemplating life and what I truly wanted.
Steve Jobs had just died a week earlier, and I was reading his biography.

He said, “Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to be become. Everything else is secondary.”
So I thought to myself, what do I want?!?!
Taking note from Steve, I tried to tap into my heart and intuition so I could hear what they were trying to tell me.
And what they both said simultaneously was…
“YOU NEED TO TRAAVVVVEEEELLLLLLLL”
I said to myself, “Well, I’ve always wanted to check out the West Coast…”
So, I decided right there to leave everything I knew behind, buy a $1000 dollar beater, and drive west across the country from New York to Las Vegas.
“It’s only after we’ve lost everything, that we’re free to do anything.”
When I arrived in Vegas, I had $251 in my pocket, no job, no friends, and I spent the first three nights sleeping in my car in a convenience store parking lot while crying my eyes out.
“Without pain, without sacrifice, we would have nothing.”
This was the start of what would become the most transformational period of my life.
“If you wake up at a different time in a different place, could you wake up as a different person?”
Within a few weeks, I had a job, an apartment, and new friends.
And within a few months, I had a completely different outlook on life.
An outlook on life that would change my own forever.
Over the next 4 years…
✅ I would discover who I am, what I wanted to do with my life, and how I wanted to serve others.
✅ I would live in 8 different major cities in 3 different countries, including LA, Miami, Denver, Atlanta, Puerto Rico, and Colombia.
✅ Ride my bicycle across the country twice for a cause I created called, Bike to Believe (NYC > MIA, NYC > LA)
✅ Live and travel with a billionaire for a summer, island hopping through the Caribbean.
✅ And develop and offer my first product, Ultimate Freedom Lifestyle, while living overseas in gorgeous Medellin, Colombia.
You see, if you do it right, the worst times in your life can lead to the best times in your life.
And that’s because humans change for two reasons…
Out of INSPIRATION…
…or DESPERATION
And 95% of the time, it’s out of Desperation.
Why?!
Because extreme emotional pain is an incredible motivator!
If my life had never fallen apart, I likely never would’ve stopped to ask what was wrong with it.
So many of us live our lives in the middle.
Not too sad.
Not too happy.
Just floating in the middle.
And I wanted to help others change that—people just like you.
I wanna help you tap into the immense power lying dormant within you…
The power to be, do, and have… whatever you want to be, do, and have… which you can achieve once you step outside your comfort zone and tap into something incredible.
I call it… Ultimate Freedom!
It means the ability to do what you want, when you want, where you want, with who you want, as much as you want.
And in the next section below, I’m gonna share with you what Ultimate Freedom TRULY means, and EXACTLY how to attain it.
Stick with me… cuz this may change your life forever…
The Success Fallacy
For the last 11 years, I’ve been obsessively studying the best minds in the world in psychology, personal development, and success…
…desperately trying to crack the code on how to become “successful.”
And over the last 5 years, I’ve tested out 1000’s of different methods, strategies, and tactics, on myself and countless others, to see what works best…
And after all that time and work, I learned ONE thing…
Pretty much EVERYONE has this whole “success” thing dead wrong!
Everyone is constantly talking about success like it’s sooo amazing.
But one thing I’ve learned to do that’s helped me out a ton, is questioning conventional norms.
And after further analysis, what I’ve found is that “success” ISN’T what you want.
Bold statement, I know, but hear me out…
For years I chased success. But then one day I asked myself a simple question, “Is success REALLY what you want??”
Because truth is…
I know A LOT of “successful” people who aren’t free or happy, and are actually stressed and miserable.
I have a brilliant friend who’s 29 years old and makes close to a million dollars a year in investment banking…
But he never has any free time and already has a full head of grey hair because he spends 14 hours a day analyzing charts and is always stressed out.
I mean, I think money is great… but at what cost?!
Don’t you want more money so you can be free and happy, not stressed and miserable?!
I sat down one day and made two lists…
One list to define conventional indicators of “success”…
And another list to define indicators of success based on what produces the most freedom and happiness overall.
And here’s what I came up with…
Conventional Indicators of “Success”
- How much you make per year
- How big your house is
- How expensive your car is
- What college you went to
- How many plaques on your wall
- What your title is at your job
- How much revenue your business produces
- How busy you are
- And so on…
Now for the 2nd list…
Ultimate Freedom Indicators of “Success”
- Options & Variety: The majority of your time is spent doing things that interest and excite you. You’re not stuck doing the same stuff over and over again at work or on your free time.
- Time: You have an abundance of free and flexible time so you can leave room for spontaneous unplannable adventures.
- Money: You see money as a tool, not your end goal. You make enough money to fund your ideal lifestyle, at least initially.
- Relationships & Experiences Over Things: You value strong relationships and new experiences over material possessions. You are discovering new things, not just collecting more things.
- Fulfillment: You spend the majority of your time in a positive emotional state; feeling gratitude, excited, intrigued, joyful, interested, amused, inspired, in awe, in love.
- Mobility: Your work is remote and location independent so you can go where you want, when you want, at the drop of a hat.
- Flexibility: You can change your approach to anything depending on your current goals and the context of a given situation.
- NECESSARY Productivity: You’re purposeful in your actions and get stuff done that counts, not just clock hours to act busy and seem like what you’re doing matters when it doesn’t.
- “Ride-or-Die” Inner-Circle: The people you spend the most time with are smart, supportive, loving, caring, and would die for you.
I call this new way of life…

It means having the power and freedom to do what you want, when you want, where you want, with who you want, as much as you want, for the rest of your life.
This way, you can spend more time doing what interests and excites you, and less time doing what doesn’t.
Now let’s dive into the details…
Your Roadmap to Ultimate Freedom: An Uncommon Blueprint for “Success”
Like I said up top, I spent almost two decades obsessively studying every personal development and success book ever written.
And what I found is they give you ways to improve your life and give you what Tony Robbins calls “personal power,” but none of them show you how to design your life in a way that offers you maximum freedom, excitement, and happiness.
It’s like if I gave you the all the tools to build a house, but no blueprint of what kind of house to build.
Then Tim Ferriss wrote, 4 Hour Workweek…
This was the first time someone offered a way to design your life that offered maximum freedom, excitement, and happiness.
Tim’s a genius, and his book changed my life forever, but it was missing many of the deeper psychological tools and tactics one needs to overcome common fears, limiting beliefs, and insecurities, so they can develop the personal power to build such a life.
But a bigger problem still remained…
All these success books were overcomplicated, super confusing, and quite frankly, frustratingly dry and boring to sift through.
So I scratched my own itch, and set out to create something I didn’t believe yet existed… a simple, intuitive, and fun step-by-step system for building a lifestyle that offered you maximum freedom, excitement, and happiness.
Again, I call that system, Ultimate Freedom Lifestyle.
And here’s the BREAKDOWN of that system, so you can have a clear understanding—a bird’s eye views—of what you need to do to achieve Ultimate Freedom. This will give you a lot of clarity…
The Two Major Parts:
